WHAT IS CBG ?
Derived from the hemp plant and also produced in the Endo Cannabinoid System (ECS), CANNABIGEROL is the mother of cannabinoids. It is NON-intoxicating, like CBD. It’s important because all other cannabinoids rely on CBG. It binds with the CB1 & CB2 receptors and helps our bodies reach a state of homeostasis, or balance.

Historical Use of CBD
Ancient civilizations used cannabis sativa for a wide array of ailments, like malaria, rheumatic pains, constipation, and childbirth. It is believed that the Chinese emperor Shen Nung was the first to describe the therapeutic properties of cannabis in 2737 B.C.E.
Western medicine was introduced to the plant in 1839. It was usually available as a tincture comprised of plant extract. The late 19th and early 20th century was the pinnacle of use in this country when cannabis extracts were marketed by Merck, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Parks-Davis, and others.
Fast forward to today. Medical cannabis uses standardized dosing and takes into account each individual’s response.
